E-ink display
Electronic Ink Display (E Ink Display/EPD) is a passive display device based on electrophoretic display technology. Its core principle involves forming images through the movement of electrically charged particles within microcapsules under an electric field, producing a display effect that closely mimics the appearance of ink on traditional paper. Developed primarily by Taiwan's E Ink Holdings, this technology has become the benchmark in ultra-low-power display applications due to its “bistable” characteristic. Together with LCD and OLED, it forms one of the three major mainstream display technology systems.
